Barbara Barry's Musical Chairs

While going through my Blog roll yesterday, I came across Holly’s post entitled “Pull up a Chair”. Holly writes a great blog called Holly’s Plate. I think she adores tableware as much as I! I read that Holly and her Mom went to the Henredon furniture showroom this past weekend and fell in love with a wall full of the Barbara Barry chair silhouette prints.
At $795.00 per silhouette print, I was thrilled when I learned that these chairs were being used on Barbara Berry's new tea set. These iconic range of chairs playfully pays tribute to Barbara's success in furniture and in the Fall of 2006 Wedgwood produced a tea set, "Musical Chairs", featuring Barbara's unique furniture icons. I have both the teacup and plate in Chair No 16.

L to R: Chair no 16 teacup, $ 30.00; Chair no. 16 plate, $30.00

L to R: Chair no 18 plate, $ 30.00; Chair no. 12 plate, $ 30.00

L to R: Chair no 14 plate, $ 30.00; Chair no. 14 creamer, Michael C. Fina at 1-800-289-3462

Barbara Barry's signature style is elegant and timeless and “Musical Chairs” is a tea set that plays with Barbara Barry's furniture designs. Using them as crisp silhouettes on fresh bone china brings a graceful elegance to everyday living.

L to R: Chair no 16 teapot, $ 235.00; Chair no. 12 sugarbox, Michael C. Fina at 1-800-289-3462

I’ve read that one of Barbara's passions is the serving and enjoyment of tea. Experience everyday elegance and enjoy these chairs the next time you're sipping your favorite cup of tea! If $795.00 is not in your budget to buy one the prints; purchase a plate, teacup or saucer. I purchased both of mine at Michael C. Fina for $30.00 each. Enjoy!
