It's all about ME!

I’ve seen this played in the past and I was wondering when it was going to come around again. Brooklyn Bride “tagged” me. Vane, thanks for thinking of me.

Players list 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, players then tags 8 people by posting their names and makes sure they know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at the tagee’s blog.

Here it goes…

1. “You are what you eat” and “You are what you eat on” - - - I'm all about good food and good tableware. Not only do I have a passion for tableware; but I’m also passionate about food. Yes, I’m an undercover “foodie”. I dream about taking classes at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. *sigh* But for now, you can find me in one of the recreational classes at The Institute of Culinary Education.

2. The first exhibit that left me speechless was “Ralph Rucci: The art of weightlessness”. The exhibit was a masterful collection. The clothing was sophisticated and sculptural, created in luxurious fabrics and a neutral palette. Hammered-satin suits, short, laser-cut jackets, narrow pants with sixties-style tunics, slouchy fur tops and gowns that defy gravity. The book is currently on my coffee table.

3. I got engaged recently and discovered my ring finger is a size 5. My Mother always told me that my long skinny fingers were perfect for piano. I played for 5 years, but gave it up. I wish I had stuck with it!

4. “The Concrete Elite” - Halal Chicken and Gyro is like no other street cart vendor in New York City. I love the Gyro platter (lamb, rice, pita and salad). I’ve waited in line for up to an hour! If you’re ever in Manhattan go to 53rd Street and 6th Ave. You will know them by their signature bright-yellow plastic bags and employees’ T-shirts, which proclaim, in no uncertain terms, we are DIFFERENT. TASTY. DELICIOUS. I agree.

5. The favorite part of my day today was when I received a new digital photo album from my sister with pictures of my beautiful nephew. He’s almost 2 months old. Can’t wait to hold him in my arms.

6. I’m not 100% functional until I’ve had my small decaf coffee from Mc Donald's (2 creams, 2 sugars). It’s the best $1.18 investment.

7. Brooke and I recently won the lottery! Lottery tickets to see “Wicked” … It is my favorite show on Broadway! HERE’S A TIP: Each day, 2 1⁄2 hours prior to show time people who present themselves at the Gershwin Theatre box office will have their names placed in a hat. 30 minutes later, names will be drawn for 28 front-row seats at $25 each. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person, cash only. “Brooke, when are we going back, I’m dying to see it again”.

8. Sixteen Candles is my FAVORITE MOVIE of all times. I've watched it a billion times and still can not get enough of this movie. My top 3 favorite scenes: 3. When Samantha attempts to pass a note to her best friend, it falls on the floor and Jake picks it up. (That actually happened to me in H.S. - - - those were the days before Blackberries, Sidekicks and Text messaging). 2. When Farmer Ted, the king of the geeks, shows his minions Samantha's "underpants" in the bathroom. #1. At the end when Jake and Samantha are having b-day cake sitting on the dining room table.

Now we know you a little bit more.
I thanked you Sarah for tagging me.

It is sweet of you. But since I did it last month, I will be lazy and refer you to that tagged post.
We had to tell 7 random facts instead of eight.
