Crowing touch: Centerpiece of the week - Queen proteas and hyacinths

The right centerpiece pulls your entire table together. They are an important
part of your wedding reception's decoration. When you're creating them yourself
the key is to keep them relatively simple; but still be elegant and beautiful.

That is exactly what Kara Janx & Sharone Sohayegh did for their reception's
table decor. They wanted to create a symphony of flowers on every table so
they filled a mix of vintage glass bottles with Queen proteas and hyacinths.
Beautiful!

I agree with you that a simple centerpiece, when it is done properly, can go a long way. Sculptural blossoms and leaves are great for that matter.

The Queen Proteas are a magnificient flower. The Jester and the Sugar Bush are my favorite varieties of proteas. I am also a fan of the Leucospermums.
